Certainly one of my favourite subjects triggered by the rare sight of the soft colours filtering through a misty gully. All light and discreet complexity. A time to pause. I think of this painting as a combination of all of these special mist filled moments that fuse together as one enduring memory. This is every gully and one in particular.
